How To Reach Fulfilment!

There is a law in the universe that the lowest valley will receive the most water. Our openness and receptivity to every experience determines how much we receive, whether it's material wealth, success, or people. The talk today was on being available for the Lord. That He doesn't worry about our capability as much as out availability.

Being open to every experience ensures the Lords greatest blessings. However we get scared sometimes because openness brings about the potential for bad experiences to happen too. There is another universal law however that there is always more good then bad experiences. If we really want blessings we can be open to everything and everyone that comes our way, and not hide. We are promised that the good experiences will always outweigh the bad experiences. We can become available for what ever the Lord would have us go through.

Another thing that's crossed my mind several times is that the goal of every human being isn't material wealth, isn't family, isn't abundance, prosperity, money, riches, love, romance. NO, this isn't what people really want. I've seen rich people that feel they are missing something, people in great relationships that feel they are missing something, people with great families that feel they are missing something. So WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR? I think the word that describes it is FULFILMENT!!! I don't know what that is in Spanish, so I wonder if it's the same there too.

Fulfilment is more than relationships, family, money, houses, cars, It means to have arrived, to be complete, to be satisfied. THAT'S what you're giving people in Mexico, and what I'm trying to do here in my own way. The Gospel... Truth... Freedom... Pure Relationship With God. THAT'S fulfilment. Is anything missing in that?

From a Letter To My Missionary Brother in Mexico

I've been studying a lot about purpose in life. From LDS perspective and many other religions. I've been able to break it down to the same purpose, in every religion, to everyone. It's uncovering who we really are. Pealing back all the layers until all that's left is love. That's our purpose. So, don't ever get discouraged when people seem uninterested in the Gospel. 99% of people operate from the knowledge they've received from other people, NOT from their heart. To operate from your heart means listening to those promptings that come to our "minds and our hearts" that let us know who we are. People that listen to their hearts will listen to the gospel. The truth is many people are too afraid of what other people think and what the WORLD has to say, they don't find out for themselves.

The world is changing however, calamities, famine and poverty, are helping people to quite worrying about what others think and to try and find out why they are here. There are several teachers that are going around teaching this stuff right now in USA because they know people are desperate to find their purpose. Some are teaching stuff that's close to true, and some are helping many people. Mom and I are starting our own seminars on the subject and we'll begin next month. I believe with our LDS background and open-mindedness we'll be able to accurately explain and express to others who they truly are and why they are here.

Here are some key insights to purpose that you may find interesting:

-We are divine children of God with capability to become just like him

-We ALL have a purpose, a mission, a calling we were born to fulfill

-All the power we require to fulfill our purpose (or our mission) is already in our mission (1 Ne 3:7)

-The world will always say that something else is more important than our mission

-The truth is we ARE our mission, and our purpose. If we leave it we lose ourselves

God bless you for fulfilling your own purpose and mission RIGHT NOW in your life. Never Give Up, Never Quit. There is nothing outside YOUR PURPOSE that is more important. Fulfill your purpose and you have FOUND YOURSELF

You loving number 1 fan big little brother,

Keith

What I've learned this week is rather deep. I was watching a conversation, a 4 hour conversation between 3 of the smartest theoretical scientists in the world the other day. A few things I found very interesting and dad and I have been discussing it. First that relationship is the most important thing in the world. Relationship with God, with others, with ourselves. Second that the only thing that comes between pure relationship is the images that we make about ourselves and others.

They talked about how people are raised to create images about themselves and others. By images I mean points of view that are not real. For example a boy is being raised by his father and is father is manly and tough (that is the image he has about himself) the boy realizes that when he acts manly and tough he gets more attention from his father (now the boy has the image). The part that doesn't work in all this is that the images aren't real. Just because I think that everyone in the world should be like me, doesn't mean it is true.

Another example is the basketball player. He has the image of himself as a basketball player. What happens when he doesn't play like he thinks he should. He fights within himself "I'm better then that" He compares himself with his image and comes up lacking.

The way I look at it, all images, about what we think things should be like, must go. We must let go of the idea that we should become like a God, when we don't know what He is like. When we let go of all images and preconceived notions, then He comes into our lives, because we're no longer telling Him what He should be like. In this way we find Him a lot sweeter, a lot gentler, a lot kinder then we ever could have imagined. By letting go of the idea that our brains know ANYTHING, we can learn EVERYTHING.
Say: I am separate from everyone and everything. How does that feel?
Say: I am a part of everyone and everything. How does that feel?
Say: I am one with everyone and everything. How does that feel?
To Feel separate from others means we aren't seeing God in others, and if not in others then how in ourselves?
The reproductive system is like the mind, it has it's own thoughts and seeks to control the body.
One Morning I awoke with the words "Breathe is intercourse with life" running over and over in my mind. My body was still and peaceful. Breathing can be so natural and feel so good. All that day everything felt soft, the ground, objects in my hands. What if the world is really a soft place and we are the ones who are harsh?
To Know God, is the purpose of Life
Pretend that time has stood still and everyone is frozen by it but you. How would you feel? What emotion comes up first. Like Dr Beckwith says: If you had to stay in your condition forever what quality would you have to learn?
Loneliness is a que that we feel we are seperate from God

Some of Myself

Dear Brother/Sister

Allow me to share some of my life with you. It all started as I was giving blood for the Red Cross. They sat me in a chair and started getting the needle ready to put in my arm. I was reading a book about a women in a hope house. She was depressed, angry, full of hatred toward herself. She lay on the floor because she felt unworthy to lay on a bed. A cockroach crawled across the floor and something happened.

They put the needle in my arm and started fishing around for the vein. I stayed calm and continued reading. The woman watched the cockroach and suddenly something shifted inside her. Suddenly she didn't care about anything. Nothing mattered. Yet everything mattered a great deal and she cared about everyone. She describes it as something woke up inside her. Something that had been asleep for a very long time. It looked through her eyes and breathed through her lungs. Everything was at peace. Everything was bright and beautiful.

The needle was really starting to hurt but I almost laughed because of the peace I felt while reading. "Are you aright?" the nurse said. "Yes I'm fine, it's just the book," I lied. It wasn't just the book. Something was happening to me, right there in the chair and my blood filled the small bag below.

I was finished and I sat down for a cookie, still reading. The woman was home with her family, away from the hope house. She was kind, and quiet. Not like she used to be. She could sit at the window, or out in the desert for hours. She could see God everywhere, in everyone.

I started to drive home and blacked out. When I awoke It was as if I could hear the tires singing on cars far ahead. I was still on the road, still driving, but everything was peaceful and still. I could almost here the objects around me talking to me. My breath was relaxed and easy, my eyesight vivid and sharp as if something else were looking out.

I haven't been the same since. Everything has changed. I sit by myself a lot. When I am with other people I never worry about what they think of me. I am open and caring. To think of anyone as anything other than my friend is impossible. Songs come and I write them down. Words come and I write them down. People feel inspired to meet with me.

Something higher has woke up in me. I think it's my connection with God. I feel Him everywhere. I see Him in others. I don't know exactly what's happened. But it's good. Only peace and love feel natural now. I want to meet everyone in the world and be their friend.

Dear Brother/Sister, My true friend, I love you. May God bless you on your quest. You are in His hands. He is real. God is real. Let go and trust. That's all that is required. We are His. His hands are ours. Go to work and He'll be waiting.

The Diamonds of Creation

Nothing could appear more magnificent then the small diamonds of creation, experienced by a heightened awareness of space and time. The physical senses sparkling with clarity and perception. Each flower, blade of grass, bird, and tree a work of art to be admired and cherished as a part of the observer. Once the spontaneous awakening has occurred, it's as if the pineal gland has exploded within the brain and precious white light has flooded the back of the head and taken control of the subconscious senses. Breathing is effortless and beautiful, the senses alive and quickened. Each moment of awareness feels better than any worldly success or pleasure. Time is something only others are concerned with. Money and politics become silly and incomprehensible. Everything becomes interesting, from the way concrete sparkles in the city to the swirling darkness that envelopes us when we turn the lights out. Nothing seems like a problem. The idea of something being a problem seems silly. The thoughts in the physical mind become humorous, especially the ones that had been taken so seriously before. Physical pain becomes interesting instead of tormenting. Food seems inspiring. Nature becomes mesmerizing. Something beyond the mind is now in control. Something real. Something perfect and sound and pure. I think it's always been there, asleep. Now it's awake and trying to take charge. Non-resistance is the key. It's a submission to ourselves

Three Parts To Every Human

In an ancient text, penned on papyrus, an enchanting story is told:
Now the Lord had shown unto me, Abraham, the intelligences that were organized before the world was; and among all these there were many of the noble and great ones; And God saw these souls that they were good, and he stood in the midst of them, and he said: These I will make my rulers; for he stood among those that were spirits, and he saw that they were good; and he said unto me: Abraham, thou art one of them; thou wast chosen before thou wast born.
What is an intelligence? And later Abraham describes these as spirits. There isn't much written about the intelligence, but I had a spiritual teacher tell me once that the intelligence was a light located in the middle of our brains. Shortly after our discussion I ran across this picture on the Internet:
I also ran across pictures similar to this common diagram:

Both of these pictures were found in an image search for the pineal gland which I had heard was one time called the spiritual gland because doctors didn't know what it was. Upon reading more about it I found that this gland remains dormant in most people or at least that's what one article said. I've heard this gland called the all seeing eye as well. All of this ties into what I believe the intelligence could be.

I believe that before we were created as spirits we were intelligences, a speck of light in the universe somewhere. We had the ability to understand what we were and communicate to some degree and it all felt very natural and safe because that's who we were. Then an enlightened being with a spirit and a body asked if we wanted to be like Him. We agreed and this poem I wrote describes the rest:

Once an Intelligence thought about a spirit

And It was born one

Once a Spirit thought about a Body

And It was born one

Once an Intelligence, Spirit and Body

Thought about Godhood

And It became one

This is the only theory about "the real you" that makes sense. You can say there is something perfect in everyone but we know our bodies aren't perfect. We know that our spirits can be troubled, down, angry and evil. So what part of us is perfect, untouchable?
